President
Gus has over 25 years of experience in completing engineering and construction projects in various roles across Canada. Gus’s expertise is in designing pragmatic and sensibly constructable civil and environmental engineering projects.
Gus has been the engineering lead and project manager for numerous civil and environmental engineering projects across mining, energy and infrastructure sectors.
Gus is also an experienced construction manager, a ‘boots on the ground’ engineer, and prides himself in being knowledgeable and passionate about constructability. He believes that construction should drive engineering, and not the other way around.
Cory Carlson, CET
Senior Civil Designer
Cory has been designing civil projects in western Canada for over 15 years with quite a portfolio in mining, energy, and infrastructure projects, along with experience in surveying and construction management. This broad background gives Cory an advantage when designing as he knows what can be built and what cannot: because he’s done it before.
Cory has an instinctual knack for producing work that anticipates the client’s needs – and the project’s requirements – all within predetermined time constraints. Cory’s work has been praised by some of our existing mining clients as exemplifying Terra’s Pragmatic Design and Real World Implementation philosophy and his work ethic is second to none.
Brandon McNeely, EIT
Project Coordinator
Brandon is a graduate of the University of Calgary Engineering program and has been with Terra as a Project Engineer for four years.
Brandon is a proficient water supply and sewage piping system modeler, having worked on several industrial, commercial and agricultural servicing projects. He is also the author of Terra’s Execution Schedules for our engineering work or for a Client’s construction project. He has explementary knowledge and abilities in current statistical analysis methods and often writes code in R (a statistical programming language specifically designed to mange large volumes of data) to support our complex hydrological monitoring and design projects.
Jodi-Anne Martin-Hunt, BA, B.Ed.
Operations Manager
Jodi-Anne serves as Terra’s Operations Manager, contributing her expertise for over a decade. Responsibilities include project coordination, managing scheduling, logistics, and remote support for field teams. As Terra’s Health and Safety Coordinator, she oversees the implementation and maintenance of Terra’s Management Systems, ensuring compliance.
Throughout her tenure, Jodi-Anne has become adept at multitasking and problem-solving, effectively navigating the Terra’s operations. Her ability to wear multiple hats and connect various aspects of the organization has been instrumental in driving efficiency and cohesion.
